About this role

About the Role Brand Specialist is responsible for the business with assigned manufacturers, collaborating with the In-Stock Management and Vendor Management teams to maximize sales and profits. Identify business challenges on the Amazon site for your manufacturers, develop strategies and action plans, and execute. Increase best-selling product stock availability and customer satisfaction; regularly analyze customer purchasing behavior and performance to inform procurement and selling plans, and plan and execute product promotion. Hold regular meetings with manufacturers to understand needs and align improvement strategies, then craft and execute improvement plans autonomously with fast decision-making and multi-tasking. What You'll Do

  • Set sales and profit targets for assigned manufacturers/categories and lead progress toward those targets.
  • Develop and track procurement strategies and plans; forecast annual/seasonal/monthly demand and inventory; formulate stock and procurement strategies and execute appropriate actions; perform periodic progress tracking and issue analysis; coordinate with manufacturers' marketing plans to improve action precision.
  • Improve and optimize operations by collaborating with partners to develop new processes or methods to increase forecast accuracy and enhance partners' operational performance.
  • Formulate and implement marketing and merchandising strategies to maximize traffic and conversion rate, driving sales and profit targets.
  • Extract and analyze data (sales, profit, stock availability, marketing ROI) to define business issues and support high-quality action plans; demonstrate strong analytical thinking and hypothesis testing.
  • Negotiate with manufacturers to mitigate inventory risk while maximizing sales; lead negotiations with buyers and stakeholders. What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of account management, project or program management, or buying experience
  • Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SQL or HTML
  • Japanese language: Business level or above Nice to Have
  • English language ability
  • Experience in process improvement
