Brand Designer (My Thrift)
Overview
My Thrift is seeking a talented Brand Designer to elevate our online presence and bring our visual identity to life across all digital platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a consistent visual identity for My Thrift, ensuring our brand is recognizable and impactful wherever customers encounter us online. This includes creating a range of assets for social media, marketing campaigns, and launch communications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a consistent visual identity for My Thrift across social, campaigns, and digital touchpoints.
- Create reusable templates, campaign assets, social graphics, video covers, and other brand materials.
- Work closely with the social media manager and wider team to turn ideas, copy, and campaigns into strong visual communication.
- Keep design files, templates, and reusable assets organized so the team can use them consistently.
- Review and improve creative based on feedback, performance, and how the work appears across different platforms and devices.
- Help evolve the My Thrift brand as the platform grows while keeping the visual system recognizable and consistent.
Qualifications
- A portfolio demonstrating a cohesive digital brand across several assets or touchpoints. Explain which parts you personally created and the thinking behind your choices.
- Strong typography, composition, color, and visual storytelling, with the judgement to balance recognizability and variety.
- Experience extending an existing identity into a usable digital system and producing assets for social content or campaigns.
- Confidence using design tools such as Figma, Adobe tools, or equivalent software, and the ability to hand over organized editable files and reusable templates.
- Clear communication, thoughtful responses to feedback, reliable delivery, and the ability to move work forward independently.
- Curiosity about thrift, fashion, marketplace audiences, and the online culture My Thrift participates in. Motion or video graphics are a useful additional skill.
