A full-time Brand & Corporate Communications Manager based in Abuja, Nigeria, leading the organization’s brand communications, marketing strategy, public relations, and stakeholder engagement to strengthen visibility, reputation, and business growth. The role aims to position the company as Africa’s leading storytelling and strategic communications company through integrated communications initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and execution of brand communications and marketing strategies that enhance the organization’s profile.
- Manage public relations activities and media engagement to secure positive coverage and manage reputation.
- Oversee stakeholder engagement initiatives with clients, partners, and other key audiences.
- Drive integrated communications programs that support business growth and strategic objectives.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand positioning across channels.
- Monitor, measure, and report on the impact of communications efforts to inform strategy and decision-making.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in corporate communications, marketing, public relations, brand management, or strategic communications.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Communication Studies, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications are an added advantage.
- Experience in the media, development, NGO, corporate, or creative industries is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage communications across multiple stakeholders and channels.
