Kolomoni Microfinance Bank is a CBN-licensed Nigerian Microfinance Bank providing mobile and web-based financial services, including savings, investments, loans, and agency banking (POS terminals).
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Branch Manager
Locations: Ibadan, Saki and Ogbomoso - Oyo
Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to all branch employees.

Supervise, coach, train and motivate staff to ensure optimal productivity and high-quality service delivery.

Evaluate employee performance and recommend training, performance improvement or corrective actions where necessary.

Drive branch sales and business growth through effective marketing, customer acquisition and relationship-management strategies.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.

Identify new business opportunities and cross-sell the Bank’s products and services, including loans, savings products and digital channels.

Maintain a strong understanding of emerging trends within the banking and financial services industry and introduce innovative approaches to improve branch performance.

Oversee daily branch operations, including customer service, cash management, loan processing and back-office activities.

Ensure full compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and audit recommendations.

Monitor loan applications, approvals, disbursements, repayments and overall portfolio quality.

Prepare and manage branch budgets, business plans and financial targets.

Monitor key performance indicators, revenue, expenses and risk metrics.

Control operating costs while maximising branch revenue and profitability.

Ensure effective internal control systems are maintained across all branch activities.

Proactively manage credit, operational and reputational risks.

Conduct regular reviews to minimise fraud, errors and operational losses.

Prepare timely and accurate reports for senior management on branch performance, challenges, risks and business opportunities.

Communicate organisational policies, procedures and relevant updates to branch employees.

Represent the Bank at community, business and stakeholder engagements where required.

Qualifications and Experience
-
HND, Bachelor’s Degree, PGD or Master’s Degree in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.

5 to 10 years' relevant banking experience.

Candidates should have experience as an Operations Lead, Assistant Branch Manager, Branch Manager, or in a similar leadership role within a bank or financial institution.

Previous experience in microfinance banking will be an advantage.

Applicants should clearly indicate their preferred location; Ibadan, Saki or Ogbomoso.
Key Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of microfinance banking operations, products and credit analysis.
- Proven leadership and people-management capabilities.
- Strong business development, deposit mobilisation and customer relationship-management skills.
- Good understanding of financial statements, budgeting and performance management.
- Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound knowledge of applicable regulatory and compliance requirements, including CBN and NDIC guidelines.
- Strong risk-management and internal-control orientation.
- Good knowledge of the business environment in Ibadan, Saki or Ogbomoso, depending on the preferred location.
- IInnovative, commercially minded and results-driven.
