Job Title: Branch Manager - Banking

Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead branch operations, drive business growth, manage teams and deliver strong financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Relationship Managers, Customer Service and support staff.
  • Drive retail and business banking sales, deposit mobilisation, loans and revenue growth.
  • Drive new customer/account acquisition and reduce account dormancy.
  • Grow deposits across savings, current, domiciliary and fixed deposit accounts.
  • Drive sales and adoption of POS, cards, mobile/online banking and other e-banking products.
  • Manage sales pipelines, targets and branch KPIs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
  • Oversee loan processing, credit documentation and compliance with banking policies.
  • Monitor branch performance and implement strategies to improve revenue and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with KYC and relevant CBN regulations.
  • Coach, develop and hold branch staff accountable for performance.

Requirements

  • A good First Degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience working in a bank or financial institution.
  • At least 3 years must be in Retail & Business Banking.
  • Strong sales, business development and relationship management experience.
  • Experience managing a banking team and delivering branch targets.
  • Good knowledge of banking products, credit, electronic banking and CBN regulations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
