Job Title: Branch Internal Control Officer
Locations: Lagos Island and Mainland - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Monitor branch operations to ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular and surprise cash counts, verifying vault and teller balances and ensuring compliance with approved cash retention limits.
- Identify, investigate and promptly report operational irregularities, fraud and control breaches.
- Review transactions, account opening documents, loan documentation and approvals for accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare timely internal control, compliance, exception, fraud and risk management reports for Management.
Major Requirements
- B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics or any other numerate discipline.
- Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in an Audit firm, MFBs/MFIs, Commercial banks or Finance houses.
- Partly qualified in ICAN or ACA will be an added advantage.
- Note: Candidates must be available for deployment to any of the bank’s branches, as operational needs may require.
Salary
N400,000 - N500,000 net per month, plus other benefits.
