About the Role Box Office Representative at Live Nation Albuquerque will assist guests at live events by selling and collecting tickets, helping guests find seats, and providing general guest services. The role also involves assisting guests with special needs, orienting them to venue layout, and supporting safety and sustainability efforts before, during, and after shows.
What You'll Do
- Sell and collect admission tickets and passes from patrons at events.
- Greet guests attending events who come to the box office.
- Examine tickets or passes to verify authenticity, using criteria such as color or date issued.
- Provide accommodations for guests with special needs prior to and day of show, including wheelchair assistance.
- Inform guests of the venue layout and direct them to restrooms, concessions, and designated seats/sections.
- Identify fake tickets or credentials and educate guests on where to buy authentic tickets.
- Resolve seating disputes or guest concerns as needed.
- Assist guests in finding seats, lighting the way with a flashlight if necessary.
- Participate in the venue’s sustainability program (sorting waste, collecting recyclables, educating fans about efforts).
- Close the venue with fellow staff after shows, including collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved sections and properly storing event equipment.
- Maintain order, enforce safety rules, and report safety concerns.
- Guide guests to exits or provide other safety instructions.
