About the Role This part-time Front of House position handles cafe duties at the Bauccio Commons for Bon Appetit during the Fall and Spring semesters, with potential duties at other campus locations as needed. The role reports to a Bon Appetit Supervisor and supports a fast-paced dining environment. What You'll Do
- Prepare hot and cold coffee drinks at the specified location; operate and understand cash register systems
- Serve food and/or beverages to patrons; stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens
- Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations; greet customers and process sales
- Follow all Bon Appetit cash handling standards and input sales into the cash register (cash, credit card, ID card transactions)
- Maintain cleanliness of cashier area and general cafe; adhere to sanitation and safety procedures
