About the Role The Blending Operator I / Blending Packaging Technician operates and maintains packaging equipment on the production line at the New Century, KS plant. The role emphasizes safe operation, troubleshooting, preventive and general maintenance, and accurate production documentation, with a focus on quality control and compliance with GMP, safety, and sanitation policies.

What You'll Do

• Operate and maintain packaging equipment across automated, semi-automated, and manual lines.
• Follow written procedures and coordinate tasks with other departments to meet customer orders.
• Complete production documentation accurately and manage raw material inventory and finished goods.
• Perform quality control by obtaining proper samples and recording product quality information.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, plant safety, and sanitation policies.
• Screen packaging raw materials to verify they meet specifications.
• Verify batch weights and quantities through calculations.
• Access D-train and maintain up-to-date files.
• Demonstrate computer skills to interpret production requirements and operate packaging lines accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with other packaging technicians, the blender operator, and Production Management (written and verbal).
• Support a collaborative, employee-driven environment.
• Able to handle heavy machinery as needed.
