About this role

About the Role Sanofi's Manufacturing and Supply organization is driving a modular, digital-first future under the Modulus program. The Biotechnologist, Manufacturing will join the pioneer batch of the operations shift team at a Singapore Greenfield site, contributing to engineering and product validation runs, and to ongoing GMP manufacturing activities in a highly automated facility. The role involves hands-on commissioning/qualification, collaborative cross-functional work, and a 12-hour rotating shift pattern.

What You'll Do

  • Perform and complete ongoing commissioning and qualification activities of equipment, digital and automation-related systems.
  • Execute routine cGMP manufacturing activities in the manufacturing operations team in accordance with Process, Quality and Safety standards.
  • Perform general housekeeping of the manufacturing areas.
  • Support ongoing regulatory and audit readiness and preparation.
  • Use key digital and automation applications and software related to manufacturing systems such as ERP, MES, PCS, etc.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and optimization projects.
  • Participate in tech transfer runs by completing related trainings.
  • Conduct Engineering Runs and other Product Validation Runs as part of cGMP Manufacturing Operations.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in an Engineering or Science discipline.
  • Starting job grade commensurate with education qualification and relevant experience.
  • Candidates with prior internships or industrial attachments in biopharmaceutical/biotechnology organizations would be advantageous.
  • Self-starter and independent worker who can operate in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to problem solve and navigate through complexity and ambiguity.
  • Able to work in fast-paced and dynamic conditions with tight timelines.
  • Good presentation and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication to various stakeholders.
  • Excellent technical writing skills.
  • Team player.
  • Biotechnologist will be working in a twelve-hour rotating shift pattern consisting of day and night shifts, including weekend workdays when the facility is fully operational.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in biopharmaceutical/biotechnology environments would be advantageous.
