BioNTech in Zhuhai, Guangdong, is seeking a laboratory research assistant/researcher. The role focuses on cellular biology and antibody-related research in tumor biology, with opportunities to participate in in vitro and in vivo studies, data analysis, and documentation. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to support project goals and ensure high-quality research output.

Maintain culture, freezing, and revival of tumor cells and primary cells.

Assist in isolating, inducing, expanding, and phenotyping PBMC-derived cells (T cells, B cells, NK cells, dendritic cells, macrophages, etc.).

Support cell functional assays, including generating stable cell lines, cell binding assays, reporter gene assays, in vitro cytotoxicity assays, and cytokine release assays.

Contribute to development, optimization, and validation of antibody in vitro activity assays.

Perform antibody activity evaluation experiments and analyze data.

Participate in establishing and assessing a bispecific antibody (BsAb) activity detection platform.

Assist in antibody molecule screening and optimization.

Help with in vivo pharmacology studies (PK/PD), pharmacokinetics, and safety evaluations.

Support IND-related documentation preparation and technical inputs.

Contribute to new project initiation assessments and technical feasibility analyses.

Support the construction and optimization of cell activity detection platforms.

Write and maintain SOPs, experimental records, and research reports.

Perform other tasks assigned by supervisors.

3–5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or higher in pharmacy, cell biology, molecular biology, immunology, biotechnology, or related fields.

Experience in cell culture and functional assays; proficient in ELISA, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, and reporter gene assays.

Familiarity with data analysis software such as FlowJo and GraphPad Prism.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a willingness to learn new techniques.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and writing skills.

Experience in developing in vitro efficacy evaluation platforms is a plus.
