About the Role Join the Department of Biostatistics, Health Informatics and Data Sciences at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine as a Biomedical Informatics Application Developer (BIAD). This full-time position is focused on developing and implementing a precision database with AI generative capabilities to support predictive analytics and advance patient care. The role involves collaborating with central IT and other research stakeholders to translate requirements into robust software solutions. What You'll Do
- Apply biomedical informatics technical standards, methodologies, and principles to research-specific program needs, objectives, and outcomes.
- In collaboration with central IT, develop and maintain intermediate to advanced IT application and programs from detailed specifications to meet research requirements and support user needs and initiatives; create detailed technical design specifications.
- Develop and/or implement components, succinct, timely programming code that is logical and optimizes programming resources. What We're Looking For
- Background in biomedical informatics or a related field, with exposure to biomedical data sciences or informatics.
- Ability to collaborate with central IT to translate research requirements into technical design and implement robust software solutions.
- Strong programming skills and experience building applications; ability to develop components from detailed specifications.
- Interest or experience with AI generative capabilities and predictive analytics to support patient care is a plus.
