About the Role The Biomed Technician Intern supports healthcare practice projects and develops organizational skills to manage tasks at both departmental and organizational levels. This role is ideal for students planning a career in healthcare and needing to satisfy degree requirements. It offers hands-on experience and exposure to current technologies. What You'll Do
- Exercises independent judgment in planning, organizing and prioritizing workload. Takes initiative to solve problems.
- Attends meetings, explaining takeaways and offering insight when appropriate.
- Assists with special projects or other duties as assigned.
- Manages own time so that multiple tasks can be coordinated and are completed in a timely fashion.
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization. What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to ensure effective communication in the workplace and with patients, families, and team members.
- Current student pursuing a healthcare-related degree and able to meet degree requirements.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $16.26 - $24.38 per hour
