About the Role
Joining ExxonMobil's Biofuels Trading team as an Analyst focused on US biofuels and renewable fuels markets. You will provide market intelligence, fundamental analysis, and actionable insights that support trading strategies and commercial decision-making. What You'll Do
- Monitor and analyze US biofuels, feedstocks, renewable fuels, and low carbon fuels markets.
- Develop and maintain supply, demand, trade flow, and pricing forecasts to support trading and risk management activities.
- Track market fundamentals, production economics, and industry developments to identify commercial opportunities.
- Assess the impact of US federal and state regulations, including the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS), Renewable Identification Number (RIN) markets, Low Carbon Fuel Standards (LCFS), SAF incentives, tax credits, and other emerging decarbonization policies.
- Provide timely analysis of regulatory and legislative developments affecting biofuels value chains and market participants.
- Monitor compliance market developments, sustainability requirements, carbon intensity programs, and evolving federal and state regulatory frameworks.
- Partner closely with traders to develop market views and identify actionable trading opportunities.
- Support the development and execution of trading strategies through fundamental market analysis.
- Deliver regular market updates, reporting, and ad hoc analysis to trading leadership and key stakeholders.
- Work closely with trading, analytics, policy and regulatory teams to ensure alignment between market analysis and commercial objectives.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external market participants to enhance market understanding. What We're Looking For
