About this role
We are seeking an experienced Bindery Finishing Operator to set up and operate print-finishing equipment in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience producing high-quality printed materials while meeting production deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and adjust bindery equipment, including paper cutters, folders, stitchers, collators, and binding machines.
- Perform cutting, folding, trimming, stitching, laminating, and binding operations.
- Read job tickets and follow production specifications.
- Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance.
- Meet production deadlines while following safety and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial printing, bindery, or print finishing.

Experience operating paper cutters, folding machines, stitching equipment, or similar machinery.

Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to read measurements and follow job specifications.

Ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials as needed, and meet production goals.

Preferred Experience: Polar, Challenge, MBO, Stahl, Heidelberg, Müller Martini, Duplo, Horizon, Kluge, or Bobst equipment.
