Job title: BIM Project Coordinator

About the Role The BIM Project Coordinator will be based in Coral Gables, Florida, and will focus on developing coordinated BIM models and producing drawings that meet project requirements and BIM standards. This role collaborates with engineers and designers to deliver clash-free, accurate construction documents for diverse building projects in the region, including transit, aviation, mission critical/data centers and substations.

What You'll Do

• Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud to generate drawings based on BIM Execution Plans and project requirements. Some projects may require the use of MicroStation.
• Project initiation, setting up new projects with appropriate file structures and BIM standards to meet project standards.
• Preparation and maintenance of construction documents; management of model production and drawing production involving all AEC disciplines.
• Advise and provide technical assistance to team members relating to BIM; assist the BIM Manager with creation of educational content for training, and project-specific content when required by the projects.
• Work closely with engineers to assemble complete BIM project drawings in Revit; notify the team of incorrectly drawn or modeled items and provide input on how to correct.
• Utilize clash detection software to resolve conflicts in virtual 3D space; provide reports for clash resolutions to the team and notify the Project and BIM Manager of large conflicts requiring redesign.
• Ensure project model data is accurate, compliant with industry and company standards, and readily accessible to relevant parties; adapt tasks per project as the industry evolves.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum two to four years of experience with 3D and parametric design and a functional understanding of BIM; minimum two to four years of experience utilizing Autodesk Revit to produce construction drawings.
• High School diploma or technical certificate/Associates with Revit training; ability to produce construction documents including floor plans, sections, callouts, 3D views, and schedules.
• Multidiscipline coordinating experience with process mechanical systems, electrical systems, civil infrastructure and structural systems; scripting experience (Python, C#, Dynamo) is a strong asset; ability to develop digital workflows and troubleshoot issues.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented; strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work independently and within project teams.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with BIM workflows and automation tools (Python, C#, Dynamo); experience with MicroStation on projects is a plus.
