Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced BIM Coordinator – MEPF to coordinate MEPF BIM models for industrial, building, and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will ensure that coordinated models are clash-free, constructible, accurate, and properly documented to support design development, procurement, and site execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate MEPF Revit models in accordance with the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and required Level of Development (LOD).
• Perform clash detection and coordination between MEPF, structural, and architectural disciplines using Navisworks Manage or equivalent coordination tools.
• Conduct and support BIM coordination meetings; identify, log, assign, follow up, and track resolution of coordination issues with design and site teams.
• Ensure accurate extraction of drawings, schedules, quantities, and model information from coordinated BIM models.
• Maintain model integrity, version control, naming conventions, parameter standards, and required project documentation.
• Coordinate with design engineers and site engineers to incorporate approved design changes, RFIs, and construction updates into the BIM model.
• Support preparation of coordinated shop drawings, installation drawings, and as-built BIM models for project handover.
• Prepare coordination reports, clash reports, issue logs, and model-review submissions for internal teams and clients.
• Ensure BIM deliverables comply with project requirements, BIM standards, and ISO 19650 principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline.
• BIM training or certification in Revit MEP and Navisworks is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 6 years of experience in MEPF BIM modelling and coordination on industrial, building, or infrastructure projects.
• Working Conditions
• Full-time, onsite role.
• Work location may be at the project site or design office in Mangalore, as assigned.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Strong working knowledge of Navisworks Manage, including clash detection, clash reporting, and coordination workflows.
• Experience in MEPF BIM modelling and coordination for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems.
• Good understanding of MEPF systems design for industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and infrastructure projects.
• Ability to coordinate MEPF models with structural and architectural disciplines.
• Experience with multi-disciplinary coordination meetings, issue logs, RFIs, and resolution tracking.
• Knowledge of BIM Execution Plans (BEP), Level of Development (LOD), BIM standards, naming conventions, and parameter management.
• Familiarity with ISO 19650 principles and common data environment/version-control practices.
• Ability to produce and review coordinated drawings, schedules, quantity take-offs, shop drawings, and as-built models.
• Strong reporting, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and ability to work effectively with design and site teams.
