Billing Specialist

About the Role Billing Specialist responsible for credit and debit processes for EG&SP customers, including completing invoicing for credits and rebills. The role conducts in-depth research and analysis to identify billing issues and makes recommendations to resolve complex issues. Works closely with the customer solutions team to provide timely and adequate solutions for customer inquiries and issues. This role also completes the monthly close reconciliation to ensure orders are processed timely each month, researching why orders have not been filled and coordinating with internal customers to identify obstacles to finalizing the billing process, and completing monthly reporting.

What You'll Do

• Handle credit and debit processes for EG&SP customers, including completing invoicing for credits and rebills
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify billing issues and make recommendations on resolving complex issues
• Collaborate with the customer solutions team to provide timely and adequate solutions for customer inquiries and issues
• Complete monthly close reconciliation, research why orders have not been filled, and identify obstacles with plant managers, customer solutions, logistics, etc., to finalize billing; complete monthly reporting
• Manage the cylinder buyback program: track cylinder returns, calculate buyback credits, record credits in SAP, and monitor customer purchase orders

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
• Minimum of five (5) years of billing, finance, or accounting
• Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA; Independent Shipping Software; Microsoft Office Products and Windows
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to motivate teams and manage conflict
• Strong reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred

• Pay Range: $29.03 - $42.57 per hour
