Job title: Billing Specialist
About the Role The Billing Specialist will join Cosentino's Fabrication team in Toluca, Mexico. This role is responsible for reviewing billing packets from each location, verifying information, closing purchase orders, and processing invoices and monthly statements to ensure accurate billing and timely payments.
What You'll Do
- Review the billing packet from each location and verify that all information is accurate.
- Audit and complete daily billing review; report with analysis on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Audit accuracy on each job processed; assist in month-end closing.
- Work closely with Pricing team to report and identify system pricing discrepancies.
- Close purchase orders or other submissions to initiate payment; process invoices and monthly statements to customers.
- Mail/email invoices to customers; coordinate with local sites/customer service on missing data and revenue vs month estimates.
- Assist in payment applications to customers and SOV (Schedule of Values) management.
- Other tasks as assigned by management.
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years of experience in accounts payable/billing.
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures and auditing procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.); data entry; experience with 3rd party billing websites.
- Knowledge of ERP SAP (desirable).
- Capacity to multitask; ability to detect discrepancies; ability to work independently; problem solving.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills; excellent verbal and written communication.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required; AA degree or higher is a plus.
Nice to Have
- AA degree or higher is a plus.
- Experience with SOV management; SAP experience (desirable).
