About the Role Volt is seeking multiple Bilingual Shipping Office Clerks in Fremont, CA to support shipping operations. The role focuses on processing shipments, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring compliance with international and domestic shipping standards. This is a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity with a standard 8am-5pm schedule. What You'll Do
- Process PGI, RTV, RMA and Sale return shipments
- Process international and domestic LTL and FTL shipments
- Book shipments on FedEx, UPS, DHL, and XPO
- Ensure ISPM15 compliance during packing
- Communicate with Vietnamese-speaking vendors and carriers; follow up for POD
- Coordinate carrier BOLs, trucking information, and driver details; cross-check on site arrival
- Manage GPS devices; ensure fully charged and assign to truckloads; report routes back to QMF
- Prepare pull lists and match lists for outbound shipments; provide necessary information (GPS, tracking numbers) to DCs or security
- Receive and process materials from WH per shipment requirements
- This is a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity with schedule Monday–Friday 8am-5pm, plus overtime as needed What We're Looking For
- 1 year of more related experience in shipping and receiving
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Ability to stand/move for duration of shift
- Bilingual Vietnamese or Spanish or Mandarin required due to communication with carriers and vendors
- Able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug test
- Be able to pass applicable pre-employment checks Nice to Have
- Knowledge of ISPM15 packing requirements
- Experience coordinating international shipments and documentation Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour DOE
