About the Role Volt is immediately hiring for a Bilingual Production Associate in Vernon, CA. This full-time contract role supports production operations, including picking/packing, inventory inspection, loading/unloading trucks, and warehouse maintenance. The ideal candidate is bilingual (Spanish/English) and comfortable working in a food manufacturing environment with GMP compliance. What You'll Do
- Pick, pack, and sort inventory in the production environment
- Exceed production and safety standards; inspect orders/products and load trucks for shipment
- Unload trucks, receive and locate inventory in the warehouse; scan/label inventory using RF scanner; build pallets for shipping
- Maintain/operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and hand trucks
- Perform general labor, moving product throughout the warehouse; pick product from inventory to complete customer orders and stage product for loading
- Assist with cleaning of the production floor as needed What We're Looking For
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Reliable transportation; ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift 40–50 pounds
- Comfortable working in a food manufacturing environment with GMP compliance
- Available for full-time shifts (1st, 2nd, Graveyard); salary is hourly
- Prior warehouse/inventory experience preferred
- Must be able to use RF scanners and work with inventory in a production setting Compensation & Benefits
- Pay rate: $16.90/hr to $17.90/hr, with shift differential depending on shift
