About the Role The Bilingual Paraprofessional provides academic support for limited English-speaking students, assists second language students in reading and language development, and communicates with students, teachers, school personnel, and families in two languages (English and Spanish).
What You'll Do
- Provide academic support to English learners and help with reading and language development
- Communicate with students, teachers, school personnel, and families in two languages (English and Spanish)
- Assist with classroom activities and translate or interpret as needed
What We're Looking For
- Bilingual speaking and writing in English and Spanish
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic proficiency in routine paraprofessional tasks
- Up to one year of job-related experience preferred
- Pass pre-employment criminal background check; written and oral bilingual test will be required
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $17.25 per hour
- Location: Kennedy Elementary School, Willmar, MN (onsite)
