About the Role Volt is hiring for a Bilingual Forklift Operator in Vernon, CA. This full-time contract role requires bilingual (Spanish and English) communication to support inbound, outbound, and transfer shipments in a food manufacturing environment. What You'll Do
- Inspect forklift for damage and complete daily checklist prior to operation
- Review daily order schedule and identify inbound, outbound, and transfer shipments
- Operate sit-down forklift to move raw materials and finished product to fermentation room, staging areas, or refrigerated trailers
- Use RF scanner to perform transactions, track inventory, quantities, and pallet locations
- Escalate inconsistencies between system and physical counts to management
- Manually re-palletize finished product and wrap pallets
- Load refrigerated trailers with pallets according to trailer load map and monitor temperature
- Transport pallets to designated piles by pallet type
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to GMPs, Lockout/Tagout, OSHA, and other safety policies
- Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) proficiency
- Experience operating sit-down forklift
- Ability to use RF scanners and manage inventory transactions
- Familiarity with GMPs, LOTO, OSHA safety guidelines and general food safety standards
- Ability to lift/move pallets and work in a fast-paced production/warehouse environment
- Availability for full-time contract roles across 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Graveyard shifts Nice to Have

- Pay: $18.40 - $19.90 per hour, depending on shift and qualifications
