Job Summary

  • To coordinate the end-to-end bid and tender process, from identifying opportunities and reviewing tender requirements through preparation, submission, and follow-up.
  • The role will coordinate inputs from Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Projects, and other departments, with particular responsibility for NIPEX and other electronic tender platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and identify relevant tender, bid, and prequalification opportunities.
  • Review tender documents, scope, specifications, submission requirements, commercial requirements and deadlines.
  • Coordinate the bid process from tender receipt through final submission.
  • Prepare, compile and quality-check technical, commercial and administrative bid documentation.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Projects, Finance and other departments to obtain required bid inputs. Manage NIPEX portal activities, including tender participation, product code additions, document uploads and electronic submissions.
  • Maintain bid/tender trackers covering opportunities, deadlines, status, responsible persons, submissions and outcomes.
  • Monitor tender clarifications, addenda, extensions and other client communications.
  • Coordinate procurement/supplier inputs required specifically for tender pricing or technical submissions, without owning the subsequent procurement process.
  • Ensure submissions are complete, accurate, compliant, and professionally presented before approval and submission.
  • Maintain an organised database of tender documents, previous submissions, prequalification documents, registrations and correspondence.
  • Coordinate post-submission follow-up and track bid outcomes and client feedback.
  • Support preparation of company capability statements, vendor registrations and prequalification submissions.
  • Maintain proper bid documentation and audit trails.

Qualifications

  • Degree/HND in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Procurement, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant professional certification is an advantage.

Experience

  • 3–5 years’ relevant experience in bid/tender management, preferably in Oil & Gas, EPC, engineering, or contracting.
  • Proven experience preparing and submitting technical and commercial bids.
  • Hands-on experience with NIPEX tendering and portal operations is strongly preferred.
  • Good understanding of Oil & Gas tendering and procurement processes.
  • Experience coordinating inputs from multiple departments under tight deadlines.

Salary

N350,000 - N500,000 Monthly.
