Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Bid Manager to lead and manage our end-to-end bidding process within the Oil & Gas servicing sector.
• The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing technical and commercial bids, coordinating multidisciplinary bidding teams, engaging technical partners, and ensuring timely and compliant submissions that position the company competitively for business opportunities

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end bid process, from opportunity identification through submission and post-bid review.
• Coordinate the bidding team to ensure effective, efficient, and timely delivery of high-quality bids.
• Identify and engage suitable technical partners where required to strengthen bids or bridge technical, facility, or capability gaps.
• Ensure timely submission of compliant technical and commercial bids in line with client requirements.
• Review client tender documents and ensure all technical, commercial, and compliance requirements are fully addressed.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate technical bid submissions to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Prepare and review the commercial aspects of bids, working closely with relevant internal teams.
• Coordinate and plan client presentations required as part of the bid process.
• Lead post-bid reviews and drive continuous improvement in the organisation’s bidding processes and strategies.
• Coordinate and ensure successful client site/facility visits, including all necessary preparations and logistics.
• Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, clients, and technical partners throughout the bid process.
• Provide regular bid status and performance reports to the GM – Technical.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or a related discipline (B.Eng, B.Tech, B.Sc).
• Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience in bid/tender management, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven experience managing both technical and commercial aspects of Oil & Gas bids/tenders.
• Experience working with Oil & Gas operators, service companies, EPC contractors, or related industry stakeholders will be an advantage.
