Job title: Bid Management Lead – Pacific
About the Role Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Bid Management Lead – Pacific to drive the coordination and delivery of strategic, complex and high-value tender submissions across the Pacific region. This role owns the end-to-end bid coordination process from tender receipt through to submission, ensuring all customer requirements, technical inputs, commercial documentation and internal approvals are completed accurately and on time, while partnering with sales, operations, engineering, legal, finance, procurement, risk and executives to orchestrate successful tender responses.
What You'll Do
- Lead and coordinate complex tender and bid submissions across the Pacific region.
- Develop bid plans, timelines, action trackers and responsibility matrices.
- Manage tender compliance requirements, returnable schedules and submission governance.
- Facilitate bid kick-off meetings, progress reviews and executive approval reviews.
- Coordinate contributions from cross-functional SMEs and stakeholders.
- Ensure submissions are compliant, professionally presented and delivered on time.
- Drive bid governance, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support sales process optimisation, bid/no-bid decision-making and tender readiness activities.
- Provide regular reporting on bid status, risks, milestones and resource requirements.
- Support customer clarification responses and smooth handover of awarded projects to delivery teams.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years' experience in bid coordination, tender management, proposal management, project coordination or commercial administration.
- Experience working within the built environment, engineering, construction, infrastructure, building technologies, healthcare, government, data centres or related industries.
- Strong understanding of tender documentation, compliance requirements and approval processes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders within a matrix organisation.
