Join a high-performing team leading strategic, high-value project pursuits across Australia. You will drive the end-to-end bid process, working with sales, engineering, operations and commercial teams to deliver winning tender submissions.

We are seeking an experienced Bid Director (Large Projects) to lead strategic, high-value pursuits and complex tender submissions across Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding opportunities from qualification through to contract award, partnering with sales, operations, engineering, estimating and executive stakeholders to deliver winning outcomes.

As Bid Director (Large Projects), you will lead virtual teams of stakeholders across major pursuits, driving bid strategy, governance and successful tender outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead major bids from opportunity qualification to contract award.

• Develop pursuit strategies and customer-focused proposals.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the bid lifecycle.

• Manage bid schedules, governance, approvals and submissions.

• Review commercial, pricing and risk strategies.

• Support the Sales team in customer presentations, negotiations and clarifications.

• About You

• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.

• 5+ years' experience in bid, proposal or project management.

• Proven success leading complex, high-value tenders.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and commercial acumen.

• Excellent communication and project planning skills.

• Experience in bid management for the operational phase of large projects is highly desirable.

• Experience in engineering, infrastructure, construction or building technologies is desirable
