About the Role Ferrovial seeks a contract and bid management professional to develop guidelines, support bidding activities, manage contracts, and ensure regulatory compliance across global infrastructure projects. What You'll Do
- Develop and deliver project contract guidelines and protocols to ensure Ferrovial complies with regulations and best practices.
- Provide specialist bidding advice on interpretation and application of policies; resolve routine queries; escalate very complex or contentious issues to senior management.
- Manage contract change control processes, evaluate change requests, negotiate modified terms, and ensure proper documentation and approval; track contract performance and report status to internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze incoming Bid Solicitation, RFPs and Tender documents; support tender evaluation; liaise with Ferrovial teams to comply with client terms and ensure timely submissions.
- Develop and deliver detailed insights and reports on bidding activities, performance and outcomes; analyze data to identify trends and improvements.
- Support construction project negotiations by building client relationships and advising negotiators on terms, conditions, tactics and strategy.
- Develop and manage detailed budgets for bidding projects; monitor expenditures and provide regular financial reports to senior management.
- Maintain operational compliance with Ferrovial policies and regulatory codes; identify non-compliance and prevent practices that impair service delivery.
- Manage relationships with internal clients; build effective working relationships to support business strategy.
- Support performance management by setting objectives and tracking progress using Ferrovial systems; set objectives for team members.
- Contribute to capability building through assessment, training, and coaching; foster development and accreditation where relevant.
- Lead and direct local actions aligned with Ferrovial's mission; motivate teams to achieve local objectives.

- Experience in contract management, bidding processes, and bid analysis.
- Ability to interpret policies, manage queries, and escalate complex issues appropriately.
- Strong budgeting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory codes, compliance and quality standards.
- Collaborative mindset with cross-unit teams; results-oriented. Nice to Have
- Construction or infrastructure bidding experience; knowledge of tender processes and change management.
