Job Purpose
We are looking for a hands-on Bid & Project Engineer with experience in skid-mounted systems for the Oil & Gas and process industries. The role covers the complete lifecycle from RFQ and technical bidding to detailed engineering, manufacturing support, FAT and final documentation
Key Responsibilities

Review RFQs, specifications, P&IDs, datasheets, codes and customer requirements.

Develop technical solutions, scope of supply, battery limits and package configurations.

Prepare technical proposals, compliance statements, deviations, datasheets, P&IDs, equipment lists and BOMs.

Perform equipment selection, engineering calculations and component sizing.

Prepare vendor enquiries and technically evaluate supplier offers.

Provide engineering inputs for skid layouts, piping, GA, fabrication and support drawings.

Review drawings for technical accuracy, compliance, accessibility, maintainability and manufacturability.

Prepare and review technical specifications, design basis, control philosophy and testing requirements.

Support procurement, fabrication, assembly and resolution of shop-floor technical issues.

Participate in inspections and lead or support FAT activities.

Resolve customer comments, technical deviations, non-conformities and FAT punch points.

Ensure final as-built documentation is complete and accurate.

Coordinate effectively with Sales, Design, Procurement, Manufacturing, suppliers, customers and EPCs.

Required Skills and Experience
-
6–8 years of experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, packaged equipment, skid systems or process industries.

Experience in both pre-order bidding and post-order project execution.

Strong P&ID, equipment selection and technical documentation skills.

Knowledge of pumps, vessels, filters, heat exchangers, valves, piping, instrumentation and control systems.

Experience with vendor technical evaluation and drawing review.

Hands-on manufacturing support and FAT experience.

Ability to solve technical problems independently and manage deviations effectively.

Working knowledge of ASME, API, ASTM, IEC, NACE and applicable customer/EPC standards.
