Benefits Call Center Representative
Remote - Virginia Residents Only Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-6:00 PM EST Pay: $17.00/hour
As a member of our Health & Welfare Benefits team, you'll make a difference in people's lives every day. You'll serve as a trusted resource for participants by answering questions and providing guidance on a variety of employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, prescription, life insurance, disability, and other employer-sponsored benefits.
In this role, you'll handle a steady volume of inbound calls while actively listening, identifying participant needs, and providing clear, accurate information. You'll navigate multiple systems to research benefits, review eligibility, explain coverage options, and help participants understand their available resources. Your communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to helping others will play an important role in the success of both our clients and their employees.

About the Role
- Responsible for managing inbound calls.
- Explain benefit programs, eligibility requirements, enrollment options, and coverage details in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.

- Research and resolve participant inquiries by utilizing multiple systems and resources.
- Accurately document interactions and maintain detailed records of participant requests and case activity.
- Collaborate with team members and internal partners to ensure timely and accurate resolution of benefit-related concerns.
- Support participants with a compassionate, professional approach while helping them make informed benefits decisions.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years or older
- Have a High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
- Must have strong organization skills
- Must have excellent time management skills
- Must have strong customer service mindset with clear, professional communication and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Must pass an internet speed test (download equal to or greater than 25, upload equal to or greater than 5, Ping ms equal to or less than 175)
- Must have the ability to connect with an ethernet cable to a modem/router.

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $32,760- $40,950.
