Job title: Belt Technician
About the Role As a Belt Technician with Purvis Industries (Snake River Supply), you will perform shop, field, and customer-site work focused on installing, repairing, and replacing conveyor belts. This role offers the opportunity to learn a new trade and advance your career with hands-on experience. You will report to the lead Belt Technician and perform duties related to belt installations and repairs.
What You'll Do
- Execute duties related to a variety of shop work.
- Fabricate custom conveyor belting.
- Cut plastic sheeting.
- Commit to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
- Complete all required paperwork (time sheets, service orders, forms, inventory, expense reports).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Valid Driver’s License.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Mechanical Aptitude.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds often.
- Ability to work in tight spaces or at heights for an extended period.
- Ability to work a variety of schedules: overtime, on-call and weekends if needed.
- Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record.
- Ability to utilize a tape measure, hand/power tools and some machines.
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
- Detail oriented.
