About the Role We are seeking Behavioral Support Specialists (BSS or BSC) to support adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. The role focuses on providing direct support, mentoring staff, and documenting behaviors to help inform behavior plans and ensure quality care. What You'll Do
- Provide behavioral support and direct assistance
- Mentor and coach staff
- Document behaviors, complete reports, and maintain records
- Support implementation of ISP and ODP behavioral standards
- Respond to crises and participate in crisis management as needed What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, education, ABA, human services, counseling, or related field
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Experience with ISPs and ODP behavioral standards
- Experience with Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) and crisis management
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Minimum qualifications include a master's degree in related field and a vehicle/driver's license
