About the Role Logan Health is expanding its Behavioral Health team in Montana’s Hi-Line region and seeks compassionate, community-minded therapists to deliver mental health care to rural communities. This role provides both brief interventions and traditional therapy in a hybrid clinic model across Shelby, Conrad, or Cut Bank, serving patients across the lifespan with strong ties to local schools and communities. What You'll Do
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy, and clinical case management in a hybrid clinic model across rural Montana communities.
- Triage referrals, perform initial and comprehensive assessments, risk assessment, level of care determinations, and determine treatment needs.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team; provide consultation and education services.
- Coordinate patient transitions into services and discharges from treatment; manage admissions and referrals with stakeholders.
- Complete progress notes and documentation in EMR per department protocol.
- Participate in employee and community-based committees; advocate for mental health awareness and access; provide suicide prevention courses if trained.
- Build lasting relationships rooted in trust and community engagement; support integrated behavioral health in rural healthcare settings. What We're Looking For
- A licensed mental health professional (LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT) with initiative and a commitment to rural communities; two years of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome for supervised hours toward LCPC licensure.
- Independent, dependable, self-motivated; skilled in both brief interventions and long-term therapy; comfortable engaging with adult and pediatric populations.
- Current Montana licensure (LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT) and CPR certification where applicable.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice, crisis assessment, brief therapies, and clinical case management; ability to analyze, intervene, and evaluate psychosocial theories; working knowledge of psychiatry, psychology, social work, education, and/or marriage and families.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and confidentiality skills; ability to work in teams and independently; strong interpersonal skills to manage sensitive situations.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems. Nice to Have
- Experience with school-based clinics; NHSC-approved sites in Cut Bank and Conrad; familiarity with rural healthcare dynamics.
