About the Role Logan Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist to support the Shelby, MT community in a hybrid clinic model. The role focuses on providing both brief interventions and traditional therapy to improve mental wellness in a collaborative, compassionate care environment.
What You'll Do
- Provide brief interventions and traditional therapy within a hybrid clinic model, collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, compassionate care
- Participate in employee and community-based committees
- Advocate for mental health awareness and access
- Provide suicide prevention courses (if trained)
- Support integrated behavioral health in a rural healthcare setting
- Build lasting relationships rooted in trust and community engagement
What We're Looking For
- Licensed mental health professional (LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT) with current Montana licensure
- Ideally a minimum of two years of clinical experience (preferred)
- Independent, dependable, self-motivated; skilled in short-term and long-term therapy
- Passionate about community involvement and mental health advocacy
- Ability to work in a rural setting with diverse populations; strong communication and teamwork
- Knowledge of evidenced-based practice; crisis assessment, brief therapies, and clinical case management
- CPR certification as applicable; working knowledge of Psychiatry, Psychology, Social Work, Education, and/or Marriage and Families
- Proficiency with EMR documentation and MS Office
Nice to Have
- Experience working in rural health settings; understanding of cultural, ethnic, social, historical, and spiritual issues relevant to mental health
- LCPC licensure candidate requiring supervision (we will consider)
