About the Role The Oregon Youth Authority is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist 2 – Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to provide comprehensive mental and behavioral health services to youth at Camp Florence Youth Transitional Facility. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including contracted psychiatrists, PMHNPs, and psychologists to support youth in a group living setting, under the supervision of the Living Unit Manager (LUM) and Case Coordinator (CC). What You'll Do
- Deliver counseling and guidance to youth from diverse backgrounds.
- Collaborate with the Living Unit Manager (LUM) and Case Coordinator (CC) to implement evidence-based interventions within a group living setting.
- Lead a positive, dynamic atmosphere that encourages responsibility, healthy habits, productive lives, and socially acceptable behavior.
- Participate in a multidisciplinary team and coordinate care with contracted psychiatrists, PMHNPs, and psychologists.
- Contribute to treatment planning and progress monitoring for youth on the assigned living unit. What We're Looking For
- Passion for delivering counseling and guidance to youth.
- Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) credential.
- Ability to work in a diverse and inclusive workplace; openness to candidates from all backgrounds.
- Strong leadership and ability to implement evidence-based interventions in a group living environment.
- Willingness to collaborate with LUM and CC. Compensation & Benefits
- Comprehensive and equitable base salary offer within the listed range based on your experience, skills and education.
- Salary range: $6,581.00 - $9,191.00 per month (USD).
