About the Role Lyra Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician (Clinical Care Navigator) who manages crises, provides in-the-moment phone support, ensures client safety, and connects clients to high-quality, evidence-based providers and facilities. The role is remote and does not involve in-person therapy; it focuses on connecting clients to care via phone and email. Strong communication, crisis management, and a growth mindset are essential. What You'll Do
- Use evidence-based interventions to manage client crises, provide brief risk assessment, safety planning, de-escalation, and connect to treatment.
- Identify roadblocks to clinical care options using Lyra’s proprietary software and other methods to connect clients to ideal treatment based on needs.
- Independently manage a caseload of complex, multi-need clients. What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree in clinical social work or equivalent; LCSW or equivalent independent clinical licensure required (e.g., LMFT, LPC, LPCC) or Bachelor's degree in nursing (RN); licensure for independent practice required; supervision hours not provided; candidates without state license will not be considered (RN exception).
- 2+ years of psychiatric intake, assessment and related experience.
- EAP/clinical call center experience preferred.
- Bilingual, Spanish-speaking.
- Significant experience managing high-risk clinical situations (e.g., suicidality, mandated reporting).
- Must be a full-time resident of the United States; work cannot be completed from outside the United States.
- Ability to work the following shifts: Tue-Sat 9:30am-6pm PST or Sun-Thu 9:30am-6pm PT; weekends include a 10% shift pay differential. Nice to Have
