About the Role Merakey is seeking a Behavior Technician to support autistic and emotionally-supportive students in a Scranton, PA school setting. You will work one-on-one to deliver trauma-informed interventions and help students reach academic and behavioral goals through IEP and PBSP-guided plans. What You'll Do
- Provide one-on-one support to students in a school setting, following each child's IEP and PBSP.
- Assist with activities of daily living including toileting and grooming.
- Implement and monitor individualized behavior plans and reinforcement systems.
- Deliver behavioral interventions and, when trained, appropriate physical interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and uphold Merakey's mission and core values. What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- 6 months of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities; 6 months experience with children with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Paid training provided; willingness to follow program regulations.
