About the Role
Join AB Volvo Truck Center in Amsterdam as a Bedrijfsautotechnicus. You will work on high-tech trucks—from robust and powerful to silent, emission-free propulsion such as LNG and fully electric drive—and ensure customers don’t experience downtime. You’ll diagnose, repair and maintain complex systems while having space for specialist work and participating in improvement projects.
What You'll Do
- Work on high-tech trucks with turbo compound technology, LNG or fully electric propulsion, in a state-of-the-art workshop.
- Independently perform complex diagnoses, troubleshoot faults, and carry out repair and maintenance tasks.
- Take on specialized work such as APK inspections, tachograph instruments, connectivity solutions and smart assist systems.
- Be involved in projects like digitizing work orders and other process improvements.
- Collaborate in a supportive team culture where safety, quality and customer service come first.
What We're Looking For
- A completed education in vehicle technology or relevant industry experience.
- A precise work approach with a focus on safety, customers and service.
- Flexibility to switch between customers when needed.
- A motivated team player who is eager to develop further.
- Good command of Dutch and English.
- Availability 32–40 hours per week.
Nice to Have
- Experience with heavy trucks and/or advanced propulsion systems (LNG, electric drive).
- Familiarity with APK inspections, tachographs, connectivity solutions and digital work order processes.
- Interest in digitalization projects and continuous improvement.
