Job title: Beauty Advisor (Inside Sales)
About the Role As a Sally Beauty Advisor, you would be part of the largest hair and beauty supplier in the world, focused on creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers. You’ll assist with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, or nails, supported by Sally Beauty training and culture. You bring your passion and personality – we will do the rest!
What You'll Do
- Build relationships and inspire loyalty.
- Recommend additional and complimentary products.
- Inform customers of current promotions and events.
- Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
- Ensure our customers are informed about and enrolled in our Loyalty program.
- Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
- Demonstrate our Sally Beauty Culture Values.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Must be 18 years of age or older.
- 1+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
- Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
- Able to communicate with customers, co-workers and management in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to apply knowledge from product knowledge training to support customer service.
- Can read and explain product labels; can follow directions and perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally on a ladder, with or without accommodation. May be exposed to fumes and odors.
- The position requires long periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, stretching, reaching, and working around moving parts or chemicals.
