Job title: Beautician - Shelby Assisted Living | Part-time 20 hr/wk
About the Role This position provides Cosmetology services to clients in the assigned departments and supports Logan Health's mission to deliver quality, compassionate care.
What You'll Do
- Professionally greet clients upon arrival.
- Perform beauty procedures including cut, shampoo, and style.
- Use equipment such as scissors, clippers, curlers, straighteners, and hair dryers with care and safety.
- Maintain a clean workstation and sterilize tools per health and safety requirements.
- Listen to clients to understand desired outcomes and provide appropriate results.
- Monitor inventory of supplies and request replacements per department procedure.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.
- Shift: Day shift with variable hours; part-time schedule (20 hr/wk).
- Schedules may be adjusted to meet position and organizational needs.
What We're Looking For
- Current Montana Cosmetology License.
- Minimum of one year Cosmetologist experience.
- Strong integrity, empathy, and ability to act with kindness.
- Excellent organizational skills and detail-orientation; self-starter with critical thinking.
- Ability to work in a team environment and maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to communicate with diverse audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn additional software.
