About the Role Beautician role at Brickyard Healthcare in Mishawaka, IN, onsite, part-time, serving residents with haircare services and customer service. The position supports residents' grooming needs and maintains professional standards. What You'll Do
- Cut, shape, trim, and taper hair using clippers, comb, and scissors
- Drape and pin protective coverings around the customer's shoulders
- Apply lather and shave beard or shape hair contour on temple and neck
- Perform other tonsorial services such as applying hairdressings or lotions, dyeing, shampooing, massaging face, neck, or scalp, and styling hair
- Clean work area and tools
- Answer patrons' questions regarding services and desired haircut
- Follow written and oral directions; maintain regular attendance What We're Looking For
- State barber/beautician license in good standing by the state of practice
- Ability to perform haircuts, styling, shaving, shampooing; follow written/oral directions
- Regular attendance required Nice to Have
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Currently licensed as Barber/Beautician in good standing by state of practice
