About the Role The role focuses on sourcing M&A and BD&L opportunities in China aligned with global priorities, identifying innovative technologies, and presenting opportunities to the global S&G and C&BD teams. You will be the regional face for biotechs with technologies and early-stage assets, and you will contribute to competitive landscape reports and screen opportunities for materially sized late-stage deals. What You'll Do
- Deliver against the S&G organization's Business Development & Licensing strategies and plans/objectives.
- Lead the execution of finding activities and alignment with strategic priority targets in China.
- Manage stakeholders, present to internal leadership teams and drive internal consensus on opportunities.
- Support the formal governance process to seek and obtain approval for appropriate deal opportunities and adhere to internal BD&L review process to ensure quality and consistency of the evaluation of all BD&L activities in accordance with process guidelines.
- Present the opportunity to appropriate deal committee and provide local support for timely negotiation and execution. What We're Looking For
- Experience in sourcing M&A and BD&L opportunities, with ability to lead screening of opportunities and align with global S&G and C&BD teams.
- Track record in building competitive landscape reports for companies in the region.
- Strong stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and deal negotiation support. Nice to Have
