Job title: Batter/Breader Operator
About the Role The Batter/Breader Operator on the 2nd shift in Bachoco USA's Further Process Plant Dept. 164 is responsible for operating and setting up equipment, ensuring correct breader and spice combinations, and maintaining a safe, sanitary work area. This role involves heavy lifting and working in a production environment to contribute to high-quality chicken products for the U.S. market.
What You'll Do
- Set-up/tear-down workstation & line as required.
- Operate machines and ensure proper functioning; adjust product flow and equipment for different products.
- Verify the right combination of breader and spices is being used; keep the equipment clean.
- Notify management if there is a machine malfunction and maintain a safe, sanitary work area.
- Stand, walk, and reach with hands/arms; regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Follow safety procedures; accommodations may be provided to enable performance of essential functions.
- This is a safety-sensitive position; exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving parts, fumes, extreme cold; occasional exposure to high places, chemicals, outside weather, extreme heat; loud environment.
What We're Looking For
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work on 2nd shift in a production environment; willingness to work in wet/humid, cold and loud conditions.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot production equipment; good communication with team and management.
- Attention to safety and sanitary standards; ability to follow recipes (breading/spice mixing) and maintain clean work area.

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $16.50 per hour.
- Incentives: $1/hour weekly attendance incentive; $1/hour night shift premium.
