Job title: Basic Water Technician
About the Role The Basic Water Technician will support BELFOR Property Restoration's mitigation efforts by performing water pumping/extraction, mold remediation and equipment setup under supervision. This role involves working with specialized equipment and following safety and customer-service protocols to protect property and ensure effective remediation.
What You'll Do
- Perform water pumping/extraction, mold remediation, and contents moving/resetting under supervision
- Set drying equipment, construct containment, and ensure proper cleanup and debris removal
- Inspect vehicles for safety and maintenance and keep them in clean, working condition
- Follow MSDS protocols and BELFOR's standards for customer service and documentation
- Install and operate systems such as Injectidry, Directed-In, and Octi-Dry where appropriate
What We're Looking For
- Ability to receive instructions from team leader and work under supervision
- Knowledge of MSDS protocols for chemical products used during mitigation
- Experience or ability to perform vehicle safety inspections and routine maintenance
- Attention to detail, time management, and ability to work under time constraints
- Willingness to travel and work at night and on weekends as needed
- English literacy and professional demeanor
