About the Role The Lawson Group is seeking an American Heart Association-certified instructor to lead in-person Basic Life Support (BLS) trainings in Concord, NH. This role delivers BLS courses designed for healthcare providers and emergency personnel, focusing on speed, coordination, and clinical accuracy in real-world emergencies. Participants complete an American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification valid for two years, with options for on-site training at client workplaces. What You'll Do
- Lead in-person BLS trainings in Concord, NH and at client sites as needed.
- Deliver high-quality instruction for adults, children, and infants, including AED use, relief of airway obstruction, and team-based response strategies.
- Facilitate hands-on practice with barrier devices and bag-mask ventilation; ensure learners attain AHA BLS certification valid for two years.
- Maintain small class sizes (up to six participants) to maximize personalized learning.
- Ensure trainings meet OSHA and healthcare standards and provide clear, plain-English guidance. Coordinate scheduling and renewal reminders as appropriate. What We're Looking For
- American Heart Association-certified BLS instructor with healthcare or emergency response background.
- Experience delivering hands-on, scenario-based training with a focus on real-world emergency readiness.
- Ability to train both at The Lawson Group office in Concord and on-site at client workplaces; willingness to travel as needed.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and a people-first approach. Nice to Have
- Experience with or willingness to offer Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED, Bloodborne Pathogens, and STOP THE BLEED trainings.
