Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, mock tails, wines, beers, and other drinks.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to guests.
- Take and process beverage orders accurately.
- Maintain excellent bar cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
- Monitor beverage stock and minimize wastage and breakages.
- Handle guest bills, cash, and POS transactions accurately where applicable.
- Ensure beverages are prepared according to approved recipes and quality standards.
- Assist with bar setup, closing procedures, and special events.
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally.
- Comply with hotel policies, safety standards, and responsible alcohol service procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO, OND or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Barman/Bartender or in a similar hospitality role is preferred.
- Good knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar service.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Good grooming, personal hygiene, and professional appearance.
- Honest, responsible, attentive to detail, and able to work under pressure.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and special events.
