Job Description The Barista is responsible for promoting MAMA Shelter’s coffee program by educating guests, selling, preparing, and serving a variety of coffee drinks, along with pastries and other items on the menu. To be successful in your role of Barista, you must be a genuine coffee lover who embodies the MAMA Spirit in all that you do.

- Follows proper cash handling and payment procedures.
- Maintain safe work habits and work environments.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in high volume hotel or coffee shop.
- You’re able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- You jump out of bed each morning fizzing with energy.
- Multi-tasker- You’ll know how to balance the needs of the guests, while upholding the needs of MAMA.
- You’re able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and Holidays.
- You’re not easily stressed and perform at your best under pressure.
- You’re dependable and punctual.
