About the Role The Special Event’s Staff at Live Nation’s House of Blues venue role is to deliver food and beverages to guests in a professional, four‑star standard, following all House of Blues guidelines. This part‑time position supports events at the HOB Myrtle Beach location by providing attentive service and ensuring guest satisfaction. What You'll Do
- Serving the host and guest of a party - all timelines and services must be met or exceeded to a four-star standard
- Serving buffets, sit-down, dinners, and hors d'oeuvres parties
- Setting tables with quality china, glass, silver, and following all details of event order
- Ensuring high standards by following service standards of department
- Exceeding customer expectations by anticipating service needs
- Organizing motions to maximize efficiency of set-up and service
- Ensuring creativity of buffets and day-to-day customer special needs
