Job title: Banquet Server
About the Role The Banquet Server/Event Staff delivers food and drinks to guests at large events, parties, and weddings. This role includes serving food, helping set up and break down events, and providing excellent customer service. Availability to work on call in evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.
What You'll Do
- Greet guests as they arrive and direct them to tables or seats.
- Answer questions, take orders, and relay special requests to kitchen and bar.
- Circulate with trays of appetizers and beverages, serving attentively and maintaining a high level of service.
- Help set up and break down events; assist with event navigation and guest needs.
- Provide tours of the event location to help guests feel comfortable.
- Support other staff to ensure guest satisfaction and seamless execution.
- Adhere to safety and health protocols to maintain a clean dining environment.
What We're Looking For
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in food service or banquet settings is a plus, but not required; willingness to learn essential.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication and customer-facing skills.
- Interpersonal: Energetic, friendly demeanor; team player.
- Flexibility: Availability to work on call, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Nice to Have
- Prior banquet or event staffing experience is a plus.
