Job Description:
Pay: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour based on experience. Type: W-2 part-time.
Location
Charlotte, NC and Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Union, Gaston and York counties.
The role
You run the floor for a section or a full function: pre-shift, assignments, timing with the kitchen, service standards, and the handoff to the client's banquet manager. Captains are the backbone of how we deliver.
Charlotte is our next full market: uptown hotels, the convention district, University City, and the clubs and venues around the region.
What you do
- Lead pre-shift and assign stations
- Run service timing with culinary and the client's banquet team
- Coach servers on the floor and correct in real time
- Close the function: counts, breakdown, incident notes
What we need
- 2 or more years of banquet or event service with lead or captain experience
- Black professional pants or slacks, black closed-toe non-slip shoes, professional grooming and appearance
- Reliable transportation and a working smartphone
- Eligible to work in the United States (I-9 and E-Verify)
